Marion A. Huggins

Marion Allaire Huggins, age 92 of Bridgeport passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul A. Huggins. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of Ernest Allaire and Madeline Rowe Allaire. Mrs. Huggins was a retiree of St. Vincent’s Medical Center and was also a past employee of Read’s Department Store and Tom Thumb Florist. She is survived by her loving children, Paul Huggins and his wife Christine, Darlene Bunnell and her husband Michael, Arthur Huggins and his wife Mary Beth, Annmarie Minardo and her husband Alan, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Rossitto, a sister Edna Bruno, a grandson Michael Rossitto, as well as her great grandson, Dominick Christiano. She also leaves her devoted helper and caretaker, Judith Tshemedi.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00am in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may greet the family Monday morning 9:30-10:30am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit in a timely manner.
