Paul F. Monahan

Paul F. Monahan, age 73, of Bridgeport passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Paul was the beloved son of Garry J. and Aimee Money Monahan.  He was a proud Naval veteran serving during the Vietnam War as a Naval Corpsman attached to the U.S. Marine Corp. Paul retired as the Director of Environmental Services for the Cambridge Manor Health Center. He was a member of the Germania Schwaben Club. He is survived by loving brothers; Christopher D. Monahan of Bridgeport (Rory Standish) and Gregory B. Monahan and his wife Ilona of TN, one nephew Garry J. Monahan (Kiley Griffin), several cousins, and also extended family in England. He was predeceased by his dear sister Eileen Monahan. Paul’s family is extremely grateful for the care he received by those at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Funeral services will held Tuesday at 10:00a.m., meeting directly in St. Margaret Shrine, 2523 Park Avenue, Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial. Private interment with full Military Honors in Mount St. Peter Cemetery, Derby.. At Paul’s request, there will be no prior calling hours.
